Fairytale Part 2 takes you on a continuing adventure of the Fairy Queen and the strange events happening in Zanaris. The objective is to restore order as the Fairy Godfather is yet to leave the throne and the fair named Nuff has disappeared.
Requirements
You need to complete the first part, which is another quest called Fairy Tale Part 1 (Growing Pains). To start the first part, you’ll need to complete The Restless Ghost, Lost City, Priest in Peril, and Nature Spirit quests.
Moving onto the skills, you need at least 40 Thieving, 49 Farming, and 57 Herblore. Lastly, you’ll need the following items along your journey to the end: a Vial of Water, a Pestle & Mortar, and a Dramen or Lunar Staff. We advise you to carry Stamina Potions and food supplies too.
Walkthrough
Head to the Draynor Village Market and speak to Martin the Master Gardener to start the quest. He’ll ask you to return once the crops are grown, so wait or do something else until the quest menu indicates the same. It’ll only take about 5 to 6 minutes.
Now, speak to him again and he’ll tell you about issues with the crops while looking at you to place the place. Agree to check the situation out yourself and proceed ahead.
Zanaris
Make your way to Zanaris and go to Fairy Nuff’s grotto. It is located north of the bank, and as you enter, a cutscene will play out. Once it’s over, you’ll find Fairy Nuff’s certificate on the ground near the shelves.
Pick it up and read it to find weird symbols on the back. Head south to report to the Fairy Chief. He’ll tell you that similar symbols have been found near the Cosmic Altar, which is next to where you fought Mr. Tanglefoot (tree monster) in the first part.
You can find the inscriptions south of the altar. When you translate the certificate, it’ll reveal that the Fairy Godfather attacked the fairies. You’ll also find the coordinates of where they are hiding.
Fairy Rings
Speak to the Fairy Godfather about the disappearance of the Queen, and he’ll send a search party to look for her. Ask him a few questions through the options you’re given and agree to return once the queen has been found. You’ll now be given permission to look for her using the Fair Rings.
Next, head southwest and speak to Fairy Fixit, followed by a Fairy Ring to start using the teleportation means using your Dramen Staff. Use the Fairy Ring four times to get the sequence as an option at the bottom of your teleports.
Now, use the coordinates to teleport, and then head up the path, right into the northeast room. Speak to Fairy Nuff and Fairy Very Wise, who’ll reveal that the Godfather attacked the Queen. Your objective is to bring her back.
Go to Zanaris again, locate the Fairy Godfather and pickpocket him. You’ll need at least 40 Thieving for it. If you don’t, you’ll be teleported outside. Upon a successful attempt, you’ll get the Queen’s Secateurs.
Magic Essence
Go back to where the fairies are hiding, and give the Secateurs to Fairy Nuff. They’ll be used on the Queen, but you’ll still need a special potion to fully recover her. You can make one with Gorak Claw Powder and Star Flowers.
Use code: CKP at the Fair Ring to teleport to the Cosmic Plane. Now, wait for the Star Flowers to grow, pluck them out, and then add them to your Vial of Water. Head back to Zanaris and use the code: DIR to teleport to the Gorak’s plane.
Keeping killing Goraks until you get their claws as a drop. Now, crush them using a Pestle & Mortal, and then add them into the Vial to make Magic Essence.
Hideout
Head back to the fairy hideout and use the potion to fully recover the Queen. She’ll start yelling about how she plans to take back her throne. Once the conversation ends, the quest will be completed.
