| Jewel Quest is a puzzle game that seems to have been on the internet forever. It’s your typical foray into the genre; match three of a certain icon (idols in this case) to earn points. Jewel Quest however, puts an additional twist by making you clear all the squares by turning them into gold. This task can be easier said then done at times though, and it gives you a nice challenge for the game. There’s also some sort of plot to the game but let’s face it, you don’t buy puzzle games for the story (unless it’s a rare exception like Puzzle Quest).
That said however, you may get bored of this game real fast. There’s no multiplayer and no additional puzzles after the ones you complete. The replay value of this game may be in the negatives. If you’re a real big puzzle fan, get it. If not, stay away from this title at all costs. - Andrew |
